This multi-stemmed shrub features showy, fragrant violet-blue flowers, creating a wonderful display in spring. This variety can also be trained as a patio tree. It's evergreen growth can create good coverage and since it thrives in full sun, Texas Mountain Laurel is an excellent choice for our harsh climate. Keep in mind that it's fairly slow-growing, reaching 10 to 15 feet tall and wide as a shrub, and 25 feet high, 15 to 20 feet wide when trained as a tree.
